Sounds like hat-head. Bring a small brush to school, and a little hair spray. once it gets flat, brush your hair from the underneath, and spray a little bit of hair spray to tackle the static.
another option is to use a very little hand cream, and once you have rubbed it in on your hands, run your fingers through your hair. That will help kill the static.

This time of year hair can get very " stat-icky or flyaway" because of the dry air around us. You can use products with humidity resistance in them. This means that it will keep the air from affecting your hair -whether the air is too moist OR too dry.
Also try not to touch your hair at all after you have styled it. Your hands have natural oils in them that will break down the style and then the air will ruin it.

this is probably caused by the moisture in the air. the same thing happens to me... i usually try to cover my hair up when i am outside with my jacket or something else... it really helps me and my hair stays in place much longer
