You only had a baby a week ago! Relax..don't concern yourself with that right now. I know that, to us, it doesn't look pretty, but concentrate on your baby. When you're ready and able, start taking your baby for walks in the stroller and you will notice it dropping bit by bit. Its okay, really, everyone has a pounch right after they've had a baby. Especially with C Sections. Though I had two vaginal deliveries and I had a pounch both times.. its now gone!

Well it's only been a week. You could try walking, that is what I did. People thought I was crazy for walking right after I had the baby, but I just had to get back to my normal size. I couldn't stand the baby pouch. It worked for me. Good Luck!

Eat right, drink tons of water and walk as often as possible. Your body had nine months of caring and protecting your baby so it's not going to return to your pre-pregnancy state overnight. You will need to work on it, but not over-do it. First and foremost . . . take care of that baby and you won't have time to wonder where your old body went.

Good luck!

Oh my goodness... one week ago... cut yourself some slack... it isn't good for your body to work out just yet... let your body heal. The pouch will go down... especially if you are breastfeeding.

Another thing besides breastfeeding I found helpful was raspberry leaf tea... it helps return your uterus to original position.

Chill!!! A week ago!? and you think it should be gone already!? First of all don't start exercising for at least 6 weeks and check with your doctor first. Even so, it takes up to a year for your body to get back to normal. RELAX!!!!

A week ago? That should be the least of your concerns. You just brought a new life into the world. Focus on that.
