If all else fails when looking for anything on your Windows based computer, run a file search.

Left click
Left Click

The search menu should open up. (I have a little dog animation Win XP.)

Left Click
Left Click (check box)
Leave everything else blank.
Left Click

This should search your whole hard drive "C:" for any pictures, anywhere. If still not found, do these further steps.

Left Click
Left Click
Left Click <[drop down box]> under "Look in:"
Left Click

(This action should put "My Computer" in the "Look in:" text box.)

Make sure is checked and all text input areas are blank.
Left Click

This will really search everythign in your computer. Look through the list of found items to see if you find your photos.

Ha, you have hidden a folder but forgotten how to see it. Its an easy thing to fix. Go under the menu of the folder (My Documents or any other window), under properties and views, a box should appear, their click show hidden files and folders.

Assuming you're making use of XP, only open up "my workstation" or the different folder, pass to equipment===>Folder thoughts===>View===> the following you'll see a gaggle of stuff, some with examine marks and some without. click on "instruct hidden archives and folders" and then click ok. Now your folder that you've hidden should be shown anyplace it replaced into. top click on the folder and uncheck the container that announces hidden. Repeat the steps above again to "conceal" your folders again in case you want.
