For you, I suggest using genforum, on the Wooten board. Put KY or ohio in the search box, and look for entries that sound like your line. Warning... people don't always use good subject lines. Good info can be buried in messages that sound vague.
Also, try rootsweb.com and the family files. Use the advanced search form, with just the surname and state as the location. Then try it with NO place name and your ancestor. Many people have entries that don't include a location .. I think they miss many hits that way.
And do you have a particular county? Surely you have joined that county's email list, or genweb page?

Could you give us the names of a particular couple, time frame and locality? Are you looking for something specific? With those three items we might be able to work some magic for you.
