Boots do a permenant straightening kit, it is fab! you put an included product, and then straighten your hair, and it lasts for ages, and when your hair gets wet, it drys straight naturally. But it isn't bad for your hair like perming is, it actually makes your hair stronger. It is loads better for you hair than straightening!
But it isn't recommended for highlighted hair, so if your hair is highlighted I reccommend GHDs and GHD gardien shampoo. GHD and its products are pricey, but theyr'e worth it. x

If you use a ceramic plate flat iron and portion your hair. It should work! What I use is that Panteen hair oil. What also works great is Frizz ease oil. that keeps the ends down... Just deep condition your hair too!! And Like the other person said trim, trim, trim! Every 3 -4 weeks.

first use a serum...I use either John Freida Frizz ez or Fruit Gardiner hair serum...try to take a shower the night before and treat your hair...then in the morning use a flat iron...ceramic works best and Fry's less...also try a shampoo that helps with frizz....and try a spring for name brand because the generic shampoo really does give split ends!

make sure you have good straighteners first then always use a good product on your hair like heat protection and put small sections through your hair straighteners so as not to keep repeating it over and over that will damage your hair

Lee Stafford (bright pink bottles, you can get from boots) has been doing a great spray protector for years. you can also get his shampoo and conditioner that are meant to help your hair follicles lie flatter and so straighen easier....
