Actually, it's probably healthier for her not to wear underwear to bed. If she is potty trained, then let he go without. Let her sleep in one of your's or dad's t-shirts. It will keep her bum covered and still let her area down below get some air. That's what I did for my little girl. Your daughter probably prefers to go without because underwear can be restricting.

My daughter is still in that phase,, lighten up.. I was stressed by it for awhile, but she is happy naked... Aren't You??? She will probably grow out of it when she becomes self conscious like the rest of the world! So do you want her to be taught that naked is bad? That she can't do it in her own private space??? Haven't you ever ran around naked??? I know I have when no one is around...:) Everyone I know has, nakedness has it's time and place.... I think you should teach her that it's not okay if there is company... But hey.. I'm just a mom living in a world where teenage girls have low self esteem and dress like hookers... What do you think??? Why don't you spank her and put her in her closet to sleep tonight.. That might help...Well, I guess, it's not that serious...

Maybe she needs more comfortable undies. When I was that age, I would only wear silky / satiny underwear, it just felt better than having cotton or other types which can be restricting at night. The silky undies do not have that restricting feel.

Also try offering her rewards for keeping her underwear on all night.

Is there a REASON she can't sleep naked? My 2.5 goes from the extreme of naked to the extreme of way OVER dressed... that's just how 2 year olds are!

You could offer a "reward" - but I know my DD doesn't go for that!

Don't worry, it's just a phase she will get through it. My daughter did the same. I told her it is a no, no and people will laugh at her.

She stopped after that.

I'm not sure why you can't allow her to do it, but my 4-yr-old won't stay dressed overnight either, even on cold nights. I have given up this battle as it is his body. I do make him stay dressed during the day but I have given up the overnights.

Why can't she sleep naked? I don't understand. Well, if it is important to you, I guess you can just keep at her. If she is more comfortable naked, you will probably have a hard time with that

i'd let her sleep with no clothes on but make it perfectly clear that she cannot come out of her room without her underwear on.
