If your skin is sensitive, using a loofah may actually irritate it depending on how severe the sensitivity is.

I'd suggest using a textured glove (can buy in any pharmacy or beauty supply store) which is going to be better for a more gentle exfoliation on your face.

You should look into one face product and stick to it, trying to avoid fragrances and things of the like. Changing products will further irritate your skin thus resulting in more problems.

What I like to use, and I've tried many products is a signature product by Ulta. You can visit their website, (ulta.com) and look for the cream gel cleanser. I'm not sure it's available online, but if it's not - check for a similar product. It's basically a face wash but gentle and more along the lines of a lotion than a soap.

You should follow washing with a non-rub-on moisturizer. I'd recommend using Skindinavia light-weight spray-on moisturizer. It feels like a mist of water on your face, not oily at all but still serves it's purpose.

The gloves should be no more than $5.00. The face wash is around $12.00-15.00 depending on the type (various to choose from for skin types) and the moisturizer is going to be around $30.00. The moisturizer lasts around 4 months if you follow the directions on applications.

You should wash your face in the morning and evening, however, use the spray moisturizer 3 times per day. It goes on over and under make-up and will cause no problems with it. I buy two bottles and keep one in my purse.

Small tid-bit - I also use that spray after I shave my legs or underarms and it works wonders!

You should be using one of those loofah things to be getting rid of the flaky skin. Use a peel and one of those gritty washes. It's lifts off the dead skin, then apply a non-oily based lotion. Keep applying every 4-6hrs until the flaky stuff has subsided. It will take awhile but continue, it will go away. Most important,,,DON"T USE SOAP..it drys out your skin, only use face washes.

Don't use Vaseline....it will eventually cause some light hair growth. Marilyn Monroe used it and if you look at pics of her in early 30's you can see a light peach fuzz around her hairline and cheeks.

I would recommend Oil of Olay for sensitive skin. After you wash your face with a facial wash for sensitive skin in the morning apply a small amount.

In the evening before bed use a moisturizer (slightly heavier than the amount you use in the morning) and within a week you should see a huge difference.

Stop using soap. Use Cetaphil or generic soap-less skin cleanser. Stop using all other skin products too except a moisturizer for sensitive skin and an under eye cream.

when you skin settles down, get an alpha hyrox lotion to exfoliate. I like Alpha Hydroxy 10% Oil Free Lotion which you may have trouble finding in your drug store and will have to order online.

I use a clear face mask to remove any annoying loose skin, then I use a moisturizing face wash to put the moisture back in. You can get Oil-free makeup from clinique and I would suggest asking their advice as well. They have face cleansers you can find out about. Where I live, they are practically in every Dillards at the malls.

Yeah! There's an old product that will do the job for you. You can buy it at Wal-Mart or any drug store. It's called "SEA BREEZE".
Buy the one that is blue in color, that's for sensitive skin. Each night before you turn in, scrub your face down with it on a piece of cotton.
You will notice a big change in 3 to 4 days.

Use an exfoliator - an all natural one would probably be best since you have sensitive skin. Don't ever forget to use some lotion every day after you wash. It won't make you oily, even though one would think it would.

i heard that having apple can help you to get rid of dry flaky face and also stop you from itching and get rid of inflamed skin.
and trying having oily fish such as tuna, salmon... that helps you keep your skin moist.
