Best highlight colour for dark brown/burgundy hair?

I dyed my hair a really dark cherry/burgundy brown, and now I would like to put some highlights in it. I have blue/cool tones in my skin. What would suggest?

I could go for red or blond, but what shade?

My hair is dark. Its almost black cherry more than anything. What about coppery blond highlights?

Go for redish-blonde.It would look very pretty.Or you could possibly just leave your hair that very elegant color.I personaly,like the color that you just have now but that is your decision.Once again,go for the more-of-a-blonde redish color.I guess it would look even more beautiful. :)

if you have blonde hair that will naturally get bleached by the actual sun in the summer. There had been this guy in my class who also had golden blonde hair that had been a medium brown near the bottom part. When he came back to school after summer vacation, it was practically platinum blonde!

if your hair is dark, definetly don't go with the blond streaks!!! it doesn't look good, no offense. if your going to put heavy streaks in don't do it, if you want to blend it in, it might look better. i would go with a lighter brown or the deep red!

try a dirty blonde or dark blonde...any shades that combine ur new hair color.
