I am throwing a surprise welcome baby party for my sister and her husband. It is her second baby, so I was looking for a creative gift set to get her and her hubby. I was thinking some kind of basket. My mom already bought a robe and toiletries... any ideas??? HELP???

Make your own basket. Put in:
Clay footprint mold - for baby's first footprint.
Baby album/scrap book.
"Big brother" or "Big sister" frame or tee shirt for the older child.
Ultrasound photo frame.
Gift certif. for family portrait!

I am gonna agree with a lot of the answers on here. Give them some "grown-up time" away from the kids. Offer to babysit for a night (whole night, not just the evening, that way they can sleep all night too). Get them a gift certificate to their favorite place to eat, and movie tickets. Just a night to themselves may be the perfect gift. :)

How about a dinner and movie gift certificate and a note for a free babysitting once the baby is here. They will need some time for themselves

"An evening without kids"

Offer to babysit, buy some gift certificates to the movie theatre, maybe to a restaurant.
Something my sister received (after baby #2) was a popcorn bowl with microwave popcorn, a new DVD, and 2 bottles of Corona.

Baby Briefcase. It holds all the paperwork involved with a new baby. This has become my go-to gift for baby showers. Everyone loves it!
