Track down the Superman documentary narrated by Kevin Spacey that came out before Superman Returns. It profiles the biblical parallels to Superman, including Jesus and Moses.
I cannot speak to the Mary and Joseph thing because I know in the 50's George Reeves series they were Sara and Eban in at least one episode.
It's been ages since i found the book but a local University Library once had "The Gospel according to Superman" on its shelves and it to demonstrated assorted similarities.

Supermans parents were foster parents Jonathan and Martha Kent and his real parents were Jor-El and Lara, so where did you get those names from? Superman is fake and Jesus is real
