Call the school district office where your child will be attending. They will be able to give you a specific answer. It depends on the state when the cut-off is, but this is sometimes not a very good indicator of when a child should ACTUALLY start kindergarten. Especially for boys, who tend to need extra time to mature before they begin the rigors of kindergarten. You can also check your state's Department of Education website, find your district, and look up the info that way.

You can do a google search for your school district and find their website. They should have that info there and contact information.

Why don't you just call the school or school district that your child will be attending?
