sounds like you have developed an allergy to nuts...seek medical attention immediately...you can stop breathing because the inside of you body swells just like the outside.

It is medically-termed a type I hypersensitivity response, commonly referred to as an allergic reaction, in which exposure to an allergen (in your case, the pecans) triggers an inappropriate immune response that causes release of mast cell and eosinophil contents -- which primarily contain histamine. The massive release of histamine results in vasodilation that you feel as itching and swelling.
Now that you know you are sensitive to pecans, you should avoid them in the future, to prevent any serious complications (like analphylaxis) that could potentially occur.

You might be allergic? Either that or the pecans are throwing a party and using your skin as confetti.

you are allergic to them!!! don't eat anymore, you could take some allergy meds to help the itching and swelling but if it gets real bad you made need to go to the E.R.

Contact a doctor.
Allergies can be very deadly, if the swelling reaches your throat, you may no longer be able to breath.

that happens to me when i eat shellfish. allegra is what i take and it stops the itching and swelling is gone in about an hour

call family doctor for advice now;if cant reach dr go to emergency
see (er) doctor now??if no appointment ,no car, call 911,para medics;;;;;;;call your own doctor now,for advice

You could be allergic and on your way to anaphylactic shock. Might want to head to the doctor....
