if u want mild supressant use Dextromethorphan containing syrup.

OH..its such a ripp off!! - cough medicines do NOT work..full stop...think about it - how can they? if you have a cold...take paracetemol to reduce temperature etc., and allieviate the painful symptons of a cold.....but face it - how can a cough syrup work?? - it cant...just a 'con' to make you buy it...the manufacturers make it 'hot' - so you think it is doing some good...but it isnt. - trust me..i work in this area and i know what i am talking about...if you have a persistant cough - see the doctor - dont fall for the con medicines! (even if they taste nice!)

Delsim I heard works real good. Other than that, I know Robitussin works good too.
