I have a painting on a flat canvas that is being used as a dining room rug. It is worn out and we would like to get a new one. The name on the painting is Daniel S. Malone. I can't seem to find him on the internet...any help of where I might be able to search would be much appreciated. Thank you!

There are several types of searches for the internet. A direct search for Daniel S. Malone may not do it, but if you find the SUBJECT, Fine Arts - Painting web sites, then use their databases to search for him you may find more about him.
Here are some sites, some you join free, some pay. Just use the free ones. If you still cannot find him, then call a dealer, auction or gallery. Some sites for that below too.

You're using a painting as a rug?? An actual painting???? Please buy a rug and don't use original artworks as carpeting.
