Tarot reading is connected with astrology. Could there be any significant correspondence between someone’s personality or future and the fall of a pair of dice, the ready of cards, tea leaves or any other random occurrence? NO. Are they the work of the devil? YES. The Bible warns all who wish to win the approval of God to keep away from such a thing. Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
It is study of the Word of God, therefore, and not the consulting of fortune-tellers, that will truly help you in your life.

Tarot cards make predictions. For example I am drawing one now for you. It says you wil NOT pick my answer as best answer. Thats all. Nothing devilishy there. Anyway where is this devil. Its just a story. So dont worry. I am not saying you should get your cards read. I am saying forget the devil story. Its like Father Christmas. Once you get older you realise this is a story. Some people still think its true!

Tarot cards like all apiritual tools are just that tools. No THING is evil or the work of the devil. Only a person who has that intention can use them as a work of the devil. They are no more evil than a hammer. But just as a hammer can be used to harm by an evil person, tarot cards can be used by an evil person. The good or evil is in the intent of the person, not in the tool used.

I have heard them called everything evil - including being the picture book of the devil. People consider them evil because they are used to foresee the future.

People who use Tarot cards want to see their own futures because they want to be able to better their lives. Christians believe one should pray to God - not take such an active role in trying to change one's life by preventing bad decisions in the future.

I don't think they are. And there's no real power in them. It's all in the person using them - and it matters on that person's intent.

No. Tarot cards are just there to help people understand where their lives are going. They don't really predict anything and they don't tell you what to do. Psychics usually use them, but there are very few true psychics out there. If you're afraid of Tarot cards, try studying the Angle Oracle Cards of Doreen Virtue (or it might be Sylvia Browne). She has written a lot of books on the subject and they always relate back to God. You don't have to worry.

Some people feel uncertain and nervous about the future and think these things might help you feel more confident.

But this is precisely why I urge you to put your trust in God alone for the future. As I have often said, predictions like these about the future are almost never on target (or else they are too vague to really mean anything). Why build your life around them or get your guidance from them? They are only a substitute for the guidance you really need—which is from God.

My other concern, however, is one that I hope you will take very seriously. These things may seem innocent and amusing at first—but it's easy to get more and more fascinated with them, and eventually become involved in occult practices that are not from God.

Don't be misled: Occult practices are not from God, but from spiritual forces opposed to God. Instead, put your faith and trust in Christ. When we know Him, we know we are safely in His hands no matter what the future holds. The Bible is right: "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists ... should not a people inquire of their God?" (Isaiah 8:19).

No for that you've got to go to Tescos.

Specifically, it's the pre-packaged green beans that are all perfectly straight and of the same length.

That my friend is the real work of the devil.

Depends on your belief. Biblically, trying to make contact with the dead or foretelling the future is forbidden. Mainly because the dead are non-existent and not floating spirits. As for making contact with spirits, those that make contact are actually making contact with demons. Those same demons make believe that they are lost relatives and give information on future events. For these reasons, God does not want you to be misled and gives you the advice of not contacting the spirit world.
