When you look in the mirror, step back and don't be so detailed in your "scanning". I've learned that if I stand and stare, I will find my flaws, but most of the time, they are unnoticeable to everybody else! Make sure you are comfortable with what you are wearing and that you are wearing the correct sizes and style for your body type. For example, don't wear low cut, swoop-neck shirts if you are small up top. Don't wear big belts and lots of layers that bunch up near the waist if you have those wonderful child-bearing hips. :o) Find what you do like about yourself and focus on that. I'm sure that your body is beautiful just how it is. Did you know that most guys don't even notice body shapes the way girls do? You know that pear shape, apple shape crap that magazines come up with? Stop reading those by the way if you are.... they only make you feel worse by advocating the need of every woman to expose her bones and get implants (not saying there's anything wrong with implants, just saying that you should wait and not join that insane craze of getting boobs for your 16th birthday.. haha). And you look the way that you do because you are unique. God left His mark on you in that special way that makes you... YOU. So what if you don't look like the Victoria's Secret Angel models!!! This world is full of plastic people who's vision of beauty has been severly skewed. Flaws are beautiful, and you are only 14. You have a long way to go and your body is still changing. Your metabolism will change, you'll gain weight.. lose weight, one day your back is straight as a board.. and the next day your guy friends are staring at your butt saying "Where the heck did that come from" (ah.. gotta love high school). Smile honey, and don't let yourself get caught up with shiny plastic people. :0)

Well you don't want to hear this probably but your body is still developing so I wouldn't stress it too much. I was always chunky and thought I was ugly but then I think once I hit 17 or 18 I blossomed into a hot chick! I couldn't believe it. Whatever you don't like about yourself try to work on, if it's your stomach, do sit ups, your legs, ride a bike, etc. etc. What kinds of foods do you eat? Maybe eliminate soda or 1 type of bad food and you will notice a difference. Lastly don't go off the scale....it doesn't really matter how much you weigh, it's how you carry it. Stand up straight at all times and you'll look like your 115!
Remember to love yourself you have to love your body :-)

A lot of people do that they think that they are a lot bigger than they really are. If you think your on the heavy side( which 14 yr 138lb is not) you should try keeping a log of the junk food you eat each day and how much you exercise. Slowly start to give up an item of junk food each day and exercise a little more. This way you can slowly get use to it. Also get clothes that complement your body more if you can. hope I helped.

You really shouldn't worry about it. People, especially during the teenage years, grow and develop at different rates. Everyone has different body shapes and body types, so no one is meant to look a certain way. There is no "ideal" design. It's great that you work out, though. Just keep healthy and don't obsess over your body. Everyone has insecurities. Encourage and compliment yourself. Focus on somthing that you DO have pride in, like dance. Eventually, you will come to see yourself the way you really are.

Hmm, you sound such as you do not have any reason to be self concious if adult adult males are throughout you and that they are telling you ur hott, then u shud in basic terms be chuffed, definitely this question become incredibly stupid there are human beings out ther who're so self concious they dont leave there properties. in basic terms seem at your self in the mirror and comprehend that theres no longer something to be self concious approximately and how fortunate you're.

Your friends are right. You just need to be optimistic. Imagine yourself 100 pounds heavier. Not the best feeling! Then, look at yourself in the mirror again. You aren't like that, you're *you*. You don't need to fret over weight. Don't ooze your eyes over skinny model pictures. Did you hear the latest news? They don't want those people on the run way. They won't healthy people. Even if healthy means heavier, its *you*!

It is very normal for a teenage girl to be very self conscience. You don't mention how tall you are, so it is difficult to say how healthy you are. You mention that you are physically active, so I wouldn't stress.
It is also normal to have up and down weight issues at this age due to puberty, growth spurts, etc. Unless there is a drastic weight gain/loss, again, I wouldn't freak out.
If you go to webmd.com, there is a free body mass index calculator. Based on your age, sex, height,&weight, you will get a general idea if you are at a good weight.
ps, if your friends are telling you how good you look, trust them, they love you!

First of all, you're far too young to be worrying about something like that. Just keep active and eat right (and for the love of god, don't NOT eat), and you'll be fine. Just remember that if someone has a problem with the way you look, that's their problem, not yours. Be happy with what you have.
