preach the True Gospel?

There are several "tribulation" periods spoken of in the Bible. The first is when Jacob had to leave Canaan to go down to Egypt--there was a great famine in the land. The second "tribulation" is when Babylon destroyed Judah, Jerusalem (and the Temple) and took some of the people into captivity for 70 years.

As for the churches, we read in Revelation 2 + 3 that God was telling them to repent because they were departing from the truth and that was about 95 A.D.--just 60 years after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Take a look at 2 Thesalonians 2.

Not all of those churches in Rev. 2 & 3 were 95 A.D. The Laodicean Church is our churches today-lukewarm.

2 Thess. 2 - verse 3 the son of perdition will not be able to come forth until the church is raptured up. The Christians are restraining the antichrist, but when we are taken out of the way he will come. Some think it is the Holy Spirit that will be taken out, but the Holy Spirit is in me so I must be taken out first. The Holy Spirit is forever and everywhere.

What made 1988 so special to you? The gospel must be preached still in all the world. We have 1 of those 70 years still to go for Israel and that is the year of tribulation. 70 X 7 - 490 yrs
483 used already and 7 years are left.

2 Thess.2:7 - that restrainer is still keeping the antichrist from being able to start his tribulation. The church is still preaching the gospel.

We are standing strong and holding to the Scriptures but the teaching of "tolerating everything" is making smart men stupid.

It is all done! I was heavy drug user in the 70s & 80s. I overdosed in late April 1988 but survived, although I was in a comatose state for a month and a half. When I got out of the hospital, I went to look-up a few friends, and a couple of them were missing. The families and other friends of these missing people didn t know who the hell I was talking about. Everybody thinks I just imagined these people (a result of my excessive drug use), and I guess they re right. By the way, these two girls who I imagined that disappeared were hard-core Christians (not like the hypocrites of today). They were always trying to get me to come to church with them, now I wish I did.

I keep hearing about the rapture and the tribulation and the apocalpytic end times. Here's a collection of predictions of these things:

Nothing, but nothing, that is going on in the world in modern times has anything to do with what is written in the Bible.
