I know that it sounds typical, but it means that she is showing you affection. If you are her primary care giver (the one that feeds her) then she is just probably showing you her appreciation. Also, another reason she could be doing this is because she looks up to you. If you rescued her from traumatic event, then she sees you as her "hero". Cats (like dogs) can sense things that humans can't. Just enjoy it!

Thats got to be one of the cutest questions I've seen asked in a long time. You may have a love sick kittie. Cats, like animals in general, desire to have a Mom. It lookes like your it. Be glad kittie kisses and dont bite. Some cats show their affection by bitting, but this one just wants to kiss you kiss you kiss you. Sounds like you may need to extend some kisses in return. You are a very lucky young lady to have such a loving cat. Thank goodness people dont get that love struck. Or do they?

Some cats are just very sweet and kissy. She loves you. If you look at some of the video tapes of animal trainers with their big cats (lions and tigers in particular), you'll notice a fair amount of kissy kiss on those tapes too.

could be multiple reasons. cats are a type of animal to learn by example growing up (thats why kittens try and hang on door hangles, they see you opening the door that way) and may have just seen you kiss enough people and trusts/loves you enough. It could also be because you are salty. Cats like salty things (like deer) and tend to lick people when they are sweaty or salty.

most often it really is a sign of affection. Another way of showing affection is gently biting on your nose or your face. Also, looking at you and slowly blinking her eyes is a way of saying "I love you." You can respond in the same way, if you want. I do it with my cats all the time.

My kitty kisses me all the time, never anyone else. He is just showing affection, she is probably more connected to you than anyone else because you payed the most attention to her as a kitten.

It is probably the only thing that WILL kiss you. Maybe you can train it to do other things too.
