Thirty birds sit on the upper branches of a tree. If a so-called sportsman, fires a volley of buckshot and kills one-half of two-thirds of them how many birds would be left?

ive seen a bird sitting on a branch get shot, die and still be on the branch. it was pretty funny. I guess his feet were wrapped around the branch good. well 2/3 of em is 20. half of that is 10. So 10 birds would be dead. So they are still there. So 10 would be left. 10 left is assuming the others flew away. if not there could be 30 left. but i would say that they would fly away. Unless one of their brothers that lived was pissed off. And came to get some revenge on ya. then he would stay too. that would make 11. And maybe he had a posse of about 5 other birds. That would make 16. So you never know. Moral of the story is: Be careful, birds take revenge also.

They all stay there. Only 5 are killed but the rest fall to the ground from buckshot wounds. I mean seriously you can't pick out 5 birds amoung 30 on 1 branch with buckshot. Your taking out more than 5.
