why do ppl drink, when it tastes bad & smells bad. is it just a status symbol,..

Taste is in the mouth of the beholder..
Moderately drinking doesn't make people smell bad... The smell isn't usually from the alcohol itself but more from what you are doing at the time you are drinking.. I sweat like a pig on the dance floor.. That's why I stink...

Hmm, I like the way beer tastes. Non alcoholic beer just tastes icky. I like the bitterness and bit that alcohol like tequila adds to mixers that would be waaaay too sweet otherwise. I like the way vodka tastes (I sip it straight up). Champagne is inherently festive (the bubbles tickle your nose and tongue and it just seems very happy). Scotch, bourbon and irish cream make coffee into an indulgence. A nicely matched wine brings out flavors in your dinner. And nothing says Christmas like a big pot of my uncle's mulled wine.
And I do like the way a very light buzz feels. I have never drunk so much that I regret it the next day (I have gotten to the point where I would not get behind the wheel of a car, but never so far that I would get hung over.) I believe in quality over quantity so I nurse a nice tasting dark beer for a few hours instead of slamming down an entire six pack of cheap crap.

I think it depends on what you're drinking and how good of a bartender you have. Cuz my brother in law is a bartender, and the drinks he makes me don't ever taste (or smell) bad!!!

some concoction my brother and the waiter concocted up for my b-day some months in the past. The is the nastiest drink I ever had to slug down, It replaced into all liquor and quite a number of alternative categories of it.....i assumed i replaced into gonna die eating it. however the warmth fuzzy feeling replaced into specific superb afterwards LOL

see alcoholic dirnks are like any other thing in its kind. it addictve so once people drink it once there hooked on it for life i dont know why but they do
