It's all up to you. If they do a good job, beer or a modest tip per man would be sufficient. A percentage would be outrageous.
If they have to deal with steps or something difficult, you may want to give them $15 or $20/person, but if it's just a standard move, $10 is sufficient.

Yes, tip, especially if they do a good job. You don't have to make it 15%, though.

has some good guidelines.
Last time I moved, we gave the movers -- five guys, very short-distance apt move -- $20; we felt bad given that they'd done an excellent job and were super-nice, but it was all we had on hand. We did buy them a fair whack of food, though, for whatever that was worth.
Note on the food part: they wouldn't sit down for a meal, period, despite our assuring them we didn't mind them eating on the clock -- better to have happy movers rather than hungry, we figured. We ended up buying a variety of finger food and drinks for them throughout the day, which seemed appreciated.

I've used movers twice, and I tip them. They were really hard workers, did some extra things they didn't even have to do, so I gave them $20 apiece.

I would give them each $10-$15. Tell them you know they've worked hard and you'd like to give them $$ to get some lunch.
I wouldn't buy beer. That's more if you buddies help you move.

here's the trick: tip them off beforehand that you plan to tip them -- once they catch wind that an extra $20 or $50 is coming their way, they'll do a knock up job - set everything up just right, clean up any messes, etc.
barring that, beer is always good

I'd give 'em some cash if they did a good job. Depends (heavy load? lots of steps? they had to do something extra?) you might have to toss them some more.
The case of beer thing would be for friends (along with some pizza).

When I was in the same situation they "said" I should tip them 10%. I tipped them $20 bucks for them both.

I think $10 would be just fine. I would not do the beer...you dn't want ot get them fired.

I don't think you have to tip them at all. They are getting paid and its not a normal tip job.
