how to use a digital pentax camera?

there is all these buttons. i can take a picture but then i don't know how to see it

You don't say what model you have.
If it's a point and shoot camera, read the manual.
If it's DSLR, read the manual, take a course (or read a good book) on photography and then read the manual again. DSLR's have a lot of buttons, not because you need the features all the time, but because it's easier to adjust the features without going through a bunch of menus. On the other hand, you won't know when to adjust these features unless you understand enough about taking pictures.
