This is very rare. The only times I have seen bedding configuration matter on price is at certain onsite Disney properties. Other ones unless you book a certain room category that ONLY has King or 2 doubles then bedding is only a request.
Typically the reason for say a room with a King bed being more is because of the room category say maybe being a suite, not because of the bed does the price change.
Most likely you will be requesting, but again this depends on the property.

Usually it is the other way around. But most hotels don't do that anymore, prices are the same for the standard rooms (1 king bed or 2 queen beds).

No always and not necessarily. Sometimes booking a room with two beds ends up being more than if you booked a single bed, and sometimes it costs the same. However, sometimes they run out of single bedrooms, they'll give you the price of one just to make business with you, to have you as a customer. Although sometimes they just don't give a damn. Even if you book two persons for one room, the price remains the same. Depends on the hotel chain and their deals.

It should be the same cost. In fact every hotel I have stayed in, gave me a choice and the price was the same. I like to have 2 beds instead of 1 big (king size) bed. You can make love in one bed and sleep in the other.

It depends on the size of the beds. If you are booking a "double" which is a pair of double beds it IS cheaper than booking a "single" with king sized bed.

maximum all states have a regulation concerning "defrauding an innkeeper" and what you're proposing falls into that. once you've 4 travelers staying on your room, then it is prohibited to in trouble-free terms e book and pay for 2 of them. are you able to destroy out with it? from time to time, exceptionally for in trouble-free terms one evening, because you'd be lengthy gone through the time maid service comes alongside. yet is it ok? No, it is prohibited. If stuck, they are going to in all probability cost your card for the added travelers AND kick you out. yet they could call the police and characteristic you charged. the right aspect to do will be to come across a more low priced inn, or suck it up and pay for the more beneficial travelers. $50 more beneficial split 4 approaches is in trouble-free terms $12.50 someone - is that fairly that significant a huge difference?
