It would help to know how old your brother is.
If he's a child, take him out to eat at a McDonald's with a Playplace & ask him if he would like to invite a friend. They love that stuff!
If he's a teen, get him a gift certificate to his favorite gaming venue.
If he's older, how about a wallet or a subscription to a magazine about something he's interested in?
If he smokes, a carton of cigarettes is ALWAYS a good gift. Maybe a nice lighter to go with it.

Does he like academy? get a gift card. Does he have an Ipod? get him an Itunes music gift card. Does he have a car/truck? you could clean it for him, inside and out. Everybody likes a clean car!

MP3 players are very cheap nowadays. And also, a good shot on the arm is good gesture of brotherhood. ^^
