My nose makes squeaky noises. What do I do?

I have a cold and whenever I sniffle my nose squeaks extremely loud. It's so embarassing!!! What do I do?

Go boil some water. Put it in a bowl. Sit down and put your head over it and drape a towel over your head. Breathe in through your mouth, out through your nose.

After about 15-20, that stuff will be so loose you can have a good BLOW. Do that a couple of times a day and I promise you will get most of that garbage out of your sinuses.

2. take some cold medicine

3. eat some chicken noodle soup or drink some tea

4. run the water really hot in the shower so there's a lot of steam and just sit in the bathroom and breathe. that helps to clear out your sinuses.

its probably congestion. it happens to everyone when they get sick. it usually happens when your nose is stuffed and/or your sick. try going to the store or docter (depends if you need a prescription) and get those nose nasels that has medicine for your nose, it'll stop the nose due from your cold and unstuff your nose. or you can try put your nose over hot boiling steamy water so it can clear out your nose and the noises and stuffiness will stop. have you ever considered the nasal valve collapse or dysfunction? or septum perforation? go and see a plsatic surgeon or at least an ENT doc..

buy a vicks nasal inhaler there small and helps clear passages ways be careful though I think I am addicted.

blow your nose so you can flush out whatever is inside that is causing you to make noises.

OMG... my does this too. I am sick too. It is loud when you sniff. It is so annoying. I am sorry that we are both sick. :( Try blowing your nose... that worked for me.
