Be more specific, what do you mean? Do you not have a pedigree but have an AKC registration? You can go to the AKC site and under the store order a pedigree right on line although you would have to pay for it. Do you want research going back many generations etc? please be more specific. Below is the AKC link for researching a pedigree by registration number

I think that the suggestion to contact the Kennel Club is a good one - especially if you're a bit concerned about whether or not it is genuine - but you could also type in his/her name into a search engine & see what comes up.
I typed in the names in my cat's pedigree into a search engine & actually found some photos of her ancestors - which was great.

Do you mean you want to know whether your dog is a pedigree or you want to know what type is your dog? Mostly you can recognise what breed your dog is. If not go to your local vet.

get in touch with the kennel club in the uk it cost you to do it not much and they wil also tell you how many pups and litters the mother has had(you can see if she has been over bred from this)dont know if its same if you are in usa

if your dog is registered with a kennel club you can ring them up and give them your dogs reg number then they can tell anything you want to know
