There are many human foods that cats can eat if starving is the other answer. Its best not to feed cats human food though. Any foods that contain nitrates/nitrites such as smoked or cured foods can be quite harmful and even fatal. Other foods that cats should not have are any that contain onion as it is toxic to a cat's system. If feeding people food to your cat stems from financial weakness, then try to avoid foods containing preservatives.

If this cat is worth that much you shouldn't feed it table scraps. He needs to be on a healthy source of cat food... The problem with giving him human food is that he could have problems internally,... such as diarrhea and bloated stomach. So the best bet is to keep him on good ol' kitty food! I hope this was helpful!!

Robust? Cats are known to need meats, they do not thrive on diets that are low in taurine or meat.

Taurine... An amino acid that is not built into proteins, but is distributed throughout most body tissues. Taurine is important for healthy functioning of the heart, retina, bile fluid and certain aspects of reproduction.
Cats – Must eat preformed Taurine and since Taurine is not found in plant tissues, cats must consume meat to obtain Taurine. Cats can’t make their own, therefore, Taurine is essential in the diets of cats. Here again, meat has to be supplied to the factory so the Taurine can be extracted for its many uses.
