i dont know anything about your age, sex and other details like your occupation and other conditions but a pulse around 47 for a long time is not normal. some arrhytmias like sick sinus syndrome or blocks may cause this. all i can say is you deserve to have an ECG and to see a cardiolog.

The nurse is right. I have a low BP: 89/56 and a low HR: 53 beats per minute.
I exercise regularly and I am a vegetarian. My diet is full of healthy food.
As long as you are active, that doesn't sound like an issue to me. If you are couch potato (and I mean that will all due respect!), then you should see a doctor ASAP.

well if you do a lot of aerobic exercise and do not feel faint or dizzy every i would say you are a healthy person. If you are not active or have other medical conditions then i would go see my doctor. Ive hear lance armstrongs pulse is around 30, get that huh?
