I am having slight symptoms of salmonella. Do I really need to see my doctor? Is there a remedy for this, or do I just wait it out

If you really did eat it, and you've matched up the batch numbers to be sure, grab the jar of PB and get your behind to the doctor.

For most healthy adults, your worst case symptoms are a few days of severe tummy distress, vomiting & diarrhea. But sometimes it can be much worse, and can be fatal to young people, old people, and anyone with a compromised immune system.

Catching it as soon as possible might give the docs time to get the infection down before it really starts causing you trouble.

It's a long weekend coming up. If you don't want to spend it in the hospital, go get checked out. And don't forget to bring that jar with you.

Wow you could be rich....Try to join a class action law suit against who ever produced the peanut butter. Usually you see those commercials on tv for a lawyer to contact if you've been- Etc,etc,. Just make sure you keep the jar and product as evidence.

If you had the contaminated peanut butter, the faster the doc catches it the better. If you're young and healthy, you MIGHT be able to wait it out. But you really don't want to.

Good luck.

You should be okay as long as you didn't eat any salmon, because you might catch NUTELLA!!!
