How is Red Stripe?

I like it a lot! Much better than American beers (which taste like water). If you're used to a good European brew it may not be quite as good, but I love it. Nothing like some jerk pork and an ice cold Redstripe in Jamaica!

Have not tried it but found this out about it:

Red Stripe is a Jamaican lager-style beer whose logo is a bold, diagonal red stripe. It was originally brewed by the Desnoes and Geddes company (founded by Kingston natives Eugene Desnoes and Thomas Geddes) as early as 1928, but in 1993, that company was purchased by the huge multinational makers of Guinness, Diageo. It is 4.7% alcohol by volume. A new Red Stripe Light has also been added - brewed in Jamaica, bottled in Stamford.

Sounds interesting, would be worth the taste test.

When you are drinking it on the beach in Jamaica, since it's the only beer at the resort - it's great. Here, well it's a medium bodied beer, pretty much like the rest.

Its a good beer-had it in the Caribbean-believe its Jamaican made-as always try it out of a bottle-don't know if it comes in cans

its a good beer but i think the one they sell in the united states is watered down. In jamaica it taste much better

Pretty overrated, but their commercials are funny. . .hooray beer!
