Morally, it is illegal.
But until congress brings charges that say yes it is, its not.

Falsifying documents to propel us into war against a threat that wasnt the threat initially claimed, morally thats a war crime that is responsible for the lives of 3100 american lives and countless iraqi lives.
That is punishable by death.

But until someone has the cajones to step up and bring those charges against bush chenney rice libby and the others, then its merely a suspicion. Not even an allegation.

So, thats the best answer anyone can give.
If brought upon Bush could be tried -- but trying to prove that, well, look whats hes managed so far, leading an entire nation into failure, so I think he would side step it.

I dont know what gongress person would dare bring up that charge, that would only receive considerabl backlash.

I would!
But theres always fall men in politics.
Why do you think Chenney doesnt want to testify to help Libby.
because it would open a can of worms that this adminstration has worked to keep closed.

Yes, it is legal. The President of the United States proposed it to Congress and the vote was overwhelmingly for it. Those who say that it's illegal have provided ABSOLUTLEY NO BASIS IN FEDERAL OR INTERNATIONAL LAW to support their assertions. Sorry, just because a bunch of people don't like it doesn't make it illegal. For anything to be illegal you must have a violation of some law, and there isn't any such violation here.

Straight answer:

Legal by US law.

Legal by UN law so far.

The UN has to actualy Vote to declare a war or invasion illegal, they have not done so in the case of Iraq.

The UN has declared only two invasion illegal in the history of the UN, the North Korean invasion of South Korea ( Russia was boycotting the UN at the time ).

And the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

Yes - completely legal. Only the President has control here, not the stoo-pid Pelosi or con-gress. What they do is just sh&it. All this war lacks is nukes and they want one so bad that we want our president to send one to Iraq and one to Iran. We will detonate them upon arrival so beware. Terror is coming to those who choose to harbor terror.

Yes, 100% of congress voted for the war. Now, of course because it is election time, they are retracting.
And for you libs, so did Hillary, and John (big mouth) Kerry.
