The world would have been a better place if eve hadn't eaten the forbidden fruit. Your comment "tie shoes" it's a little ridiculos: even a child learning how to tie his shoes knows how to tie his shoes (whether it's right or not).. So do you need to think of right and wrong before you tie your shoes? The bible's forbidden fruit only represents the ability to choose right from wrong in action such as choosing to be nice instead of being rude, Some of us would prefer having that in us instead of having to choose it since sometimes it's hard to be nice in certain situation.. The fruit made us disobedient..which is also caused by choosing to be disobedient. Think about it: Everything in the garden God had created even the snake, he knew the snake would trick eve and he knew eve would fall for it. But he allowed it, he gave us the choice and he keeps giving us the choice to be with him or without him. But at the end when he comes, you'll be better off with him (as you will be on earth) because those who chose not to be with him will be with the prince of the earth (the devil)...
But if anything, do think about this: God gave choice from the beginning and nothing ever exist without his outermost knowledge of it..

Actually, it is Adam who needed to not eat the forbidden fruit.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Nowhere does it say that the fruit was an apple.

its not the apple that should be the main focus.
its the act of disobedience to not eat of the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil.
God told them not to eat of the tree of life that had knowledge of good and evil.
try to Imagine a world that didnt have evil in the world. what would the world be like if only good was taught in the beginning.
what if evil was not an alternative to righteousness ?
why are broken families abound.
why do people give up instead of tring to stay together ?

1. why do so many people believe it was an apple? it says the fruit of the tree, not apple.
2. duh. the fruit was for the knowledge of good and evil. Vy eating the fruit, Adam and Eve had committed the first sin humans ever had, and so as a consequence of their actions, they now gained a sinful aspect to their human nature. Adam and Eve had intelligence, just not a conscience before eating the fruit.

I don't think there would be much change. The Elohim created man and gave him care of the earth on the sixth day. Yahweh Elohim started his garden experiment on the eighth day. What would the world be without Judaism, Christianity, Islam? Maybe more peaceful but there still would probably have been a religion of persecution developed in enslaved populations and the advancement would have been the same.

There would be no world, because Adam and Eve were allowed to stay in Paradise.
However, that story is only a parable, teaching us not to attach ourselves to earthly desires, like a person attaches herself to the temptation of satan.
Working for the service of all mankind is good; working to satisfy one's own desires is bad.

There would only be Adam and Eve.
If Adam had not transgressed he would not have fallen, but he would have remained in the garden of Eden. And all things which were created must have remained in the same state in which they were after they were created; and they must have remained forever, and had no end.
And they would have had no children; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin.
All things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things.
Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.

People wouldn't exist. Adam and Eve would still be living in the Garden of Eden, chillin' with the animals. They would neither be happy or sad, but would just exist. It was necessary for them...they ate that man might be.

It doesn't say she ate an an apple. It says she ate some fruit. It could've been anything - even a banana. She should've grabbed some fruit off the tree of life on her way out!
