Dear Luke,

Jws are the modern day false prophets that the Bible continually warns us to stay away from.

It is their personal preference if they don't accept medical care, however that is not the truth because they do. They just don't accept blood transfusions.

So what if they knock on people's doors, so do politicans before an election.

The reasons why I caution you against jws is that they teach what the Watchtower Society says the Bible says rather than what the awesome uncreated Creator of the universe says the Bible says.

For example they teach that Jesus Christ is actually the angel Michael and yet the Bible says no such thing.

They also do not believe that Jesus Christ is God-With-Us and yet the Bible does teach us that.

One Truth Exposes a Thousand Lies - Traits Shared Between Jehovah and Jesus.

As a friend says the chart shows a susupiciously high number of qualities that Jehovah and Jesus share. And since Jehovah God will not share His glory with anyone (Isaiah 42:8) it seems odd that the two have the same characteristics through and through.

A jehovah witness is a deceived person. They believe sin is in a persons blood so they don't accept blood transfusions. The Bible doesn't say anything about receiving blood trasfusions only eating blood is forbidden. They say Jesus was a created angel when Hebrews 1:5 says He wasn't. They also say jehovah never died but Revelation 1:17-18 says he did. They don't believe in hell even though the Bible warns against it. (Rev 21:8) They ignore the diety of Christ as God in the flesh. They also claim Christ was cruicified on a torture stake instead of a cross. John 20:25 states Christ died on a cross. They've also predicted the end of the world for the past 100 years and their prophecies have never been fulfilled. Old testament false prophets were stoned...to bad we can't do that today. They've also rewritten the Bible to suit their own theology. The nwt is the nuetered translation. Maybe they should read Deut 4:2. Also they publish tons of irrelevant information. They only publish it to suit their deceiving religion. Maybe they should read 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and ask themselves if the bible alone is sufficient or does stuff need to be added to it.

My sources will tell you so much more.

We are Christians who truly love Jehovah God and his Son, Christ Jesus, and have faith that what the entire Bible says is inspired and beneficial for teaching, for reproving and for setting things straight.
We adhere to the Bible as a standard for all our beliefs.
We worship Jehovah as the only true God (Psalms 83:18 Exodus 6:3)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, the first of all God's creations, that he sacrificed his life for imperfect humans so that we have the chance to receive everlasting life, something that our first parents Adam & Eve lost.
We believe that God's Kingdom is the only hope for mankind; that it is a real government; that it will soon put an end to all wickedness, including all human governments, and that it will produce a new government in which righteousness will prevail.
We believe that God's original purpose for the earth will be fulfilled; that the earth will be completely populated by worshipers of the true God and that these will be able to enjoy eternal life in human perfection; that even the dead will be brought back to life with an opportunity to also share in those blessings.
We believe that the dead are conscious of absolutely nothing; that they are experiencing neither pain nor pleasure, that they exist in God's memory, so hope for their future lies in a resurrection from the dead.
We believe that we are now living in the last days, that some living today will also see the destruction of the wicked; that lovers of righteousness will survive into a paradise earth.
We remain separate from the world just as Jesus commanded us to do.We remain neutral when it comes to politics or warfare against our fellowman.
We believe that blood is sacred and that life is in the blood and that our lives rightly belong to God. (See Gen.9:4, Leviticus 7:27, Acts 15:20, Acts 15:29. )
We strive to apply Bible counsel in every aspect of life.
By preaching to all nations, we are fulfilling the Biblical prophecys found at Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28:19-20.

We accept all medical care as long as it does not violate God's righteous laws. Many Witnesses are doctors and nurses.

A Jehovah's Witness is a person like you that answered their door and listened to the message that was presented, allowed it to go from ear to mind and heart, In turn started studying the bible with the person knocking. Then you begin to understand God's word and come to an accurate knowledge of the scriptures.
Once you understand the scriptures or God's plans for the human race, then you will want to follow Jesus commands at
Mathew 28:18,19,
The first requirement though is to learn, see John 17;3, If a person chooses not to study they can stop it any time. However its not a good choice for this reason. We people of the earth were never meant to rule ourselves? see Jeremiah 10:23
Once a person comes to an accurate knowledge of the bible he then understands what God's plans are for the earth and mankind.
The reward for serving Jehovah is everlasting life on earth as the bible explains at Psalms 37:9-11,29. and as Jesus said in Mathew 5:5.
We all have free choice? If a person chooses not to listen then he is telling God that he is not interested in everlasting life. The reward for serving him.

Jehovah's Witnesses are an international Christian denomination whose members believe that their faith is the restoration of first-century Christianity. Believing that all other religions are false, Jehovah's Witnesses reject traditional Christian doctrines such as the Trinity, eternal torment in hell and the immortality of the soul. The central theme of their preaching is God’s Kingdom (that is, God's rule over the Earth) with Jesus Christ as its king. The Witnesses believe this rule began with the Second Coming or presence of Christ. Originally, this was believed to have occurred invisibly in 1874, but this date was later revised to 1914.

In areas where they are active, they are commonly known for their door-to-door preaching and their objection to blood transfusions, and for not celebrating birthdays and most holidays. Their most widely-known publications are the religious magazines, The Watchtower and Awake!. Official membership of the organization, counted as those who preach each month, is estimated to be about 6.5 million.

The main thing, Luke Brown, is that you only listen to a Jehovah's Witness about who they are. You wouldn't ask a fireman what an auto mechanic's job is like, would you? The fireman will only tell you what he has heard or THINKS he knows. If you want to know what Jehovah's Witnesses believe, ask one. Everyone else simply does not know, so don't listen to them!!

In most ways Jehovah’s Witnesses are like everyone else. They have normal problems, economic, physical, emotional. They make mistakes at times, for they are not perfect, inspired, or infallible. But they try to learn from their experiences and diligently study the Bible to make needed corrections. They have made a dedication to God to do his will, and they apply themselves to fulfill this dedication. In all their activities they seek guidance from God’s Word and his holy spirit.

It is of vital importance to them that their beliefs be based on the Bible and not on mere human speculations or religious creeds. They feel as did the apostle Paul when he expressed himself under inspiration: “Let God be found true, though every man be found a liar.” (Romans 3:4, New World Translation) When it comes to teachings offered as Biblical truth, the Witnesses strongly endorse the course followed by the Beroeans when they heard the apostle Paul preach: “They received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things were so.” (Acts 17:11) Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that all religious teachings should be subjected to this test of agreement with the inspired Scriptures, whether the teaching is offered by them or by someone else.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe in the Bible as the Word of God. They consider its 66 books to be inspired and historically accurate. What is commonly called the New Testament they refer to as the Christian Greek Scriptures, and the Old Testament they call the Hebrew Scriptures. They rely on both of these, the Greek and the Hebrew Scriptures, and take them literally except where the expressions or settings obviously indicate that they are figurative or symbolic. They understand that many of the prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled, others are in the course of fulfillment, and still others await fulfillment.

Jehovah’s Witnesses? The way they refer to themselves. It is a descriptive name, indicating that they bear witness concerning Jehovah, his Godship, and his purposes. “God,” “Lord,” and “Creator”, like “President,” “King,” and “General”, are titles and may be applied to several different personages. But “Jehovah” is a personal name and refers to the almighty God and Creator of the universe. This is shown at Psalm 83:18, according to the King James version of the Bible: “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.”

The Scriptural account that Jehovah’s Witnesses draw on for their name is in the 43rd chapter of Isaiah. There the world scene is viewed as a courtroom drama: The gods of the nations are invited to bring forth their witnesses to prove their claimed cases of righteousness or to hear the witnesses for Jehovah’s side and acknowledge the truth. Jehovah there declares to his people: “Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour.” Isaiah 43:10, 11, American Standard Version.

Some 6,000,000 persons today who are telling the good news of Jehovah’s Kingdom by Christ Jesus in over 236 lands and 100,000 Congregations worldwide feel that they properly refer to themselves as Jehovah’s Witnesses.

With Bible Studies, we will use any Bible that the person may have, King James, America Standard, Catholic, etc, etc, you may have heard that we have our own Bible, and that it is the only one we will use, that is not true, the TRUTH can be found in any Bible, I personally have a King James Bible with me at all times in the Ministry because many people prefer that version of the Bible.

These people, I know, irritate a lot of people and I am one of them. However, their belief is such that without preaching to others, yes even on the doorstep, they feel failures. For those atheists or agnostics, the matter would wash over them but for believers in another Religion it is sometimes challenging. My feelings are that if anyone believes in God, there is no definitive Religion that would get priority at the Pearly Gates.

They believe in a god called Jehovah. They believe Jesus was just a prophet and not the Son of God. They spread heresy and exalt themselves above those who do not believe in their faith. They believe we are living in the Tribulation Period already, when it hasn't even bagan yet.
They do not celebrate birthdays or holidays either They go door to door because they believe they are right and want to tell others about their belief.
