all depends on the distance. fondant is pretty durable; it's not going to melt on you. Unless you made it incorrectly. also depends on what's in your cake though. any raw egg? if so, then it better be a refrigerated vessel.

Fondant is pretty hardy. It will stand up to the ride and temperature changes fairly well if made correctly.

i dont think so because it will be all over the place in the tin(or box whatever your gunna put it in) the mail men are not gentile with boxes
