I was watching Sex and the City and Carrie asked this question and it got me thinking can you have a realtionship without sex and sex without a realtionship? because I have had both and they never worked out so you need both to make a realtionship work or do you?

You can, but it isn't easy. You both have to talk about it and understand eachothers beliefs and agree on them.

To your main question...YES!!! I'm going to the extremes. Sex without a relationship would be like a guy going to a prostitute or having a one night stand. A relationship without sex would be like me and my mother or best friend, my uncle, close co-workers....etc. I left you a picture of two good examples. So, the answer to your question can you have a realtionship without sex and sex without a realtionship? Yes!
