Crazy, I feel the same way everytime I meet someone I really like. I don't know what to do about it either. I've actually been to therapy before (not for that issue) but as far as I'm concerned I'm very mentally healthy in all other respects. But man, once I meet a girl I really like, I have to practically physically hold myself back. Its a huge turn off and I am well aware of it, so I try to control my emotions the best I can myself, in my head... but even that isn't foolproof and effects your decision making sometimes. I really hope someone has a miracle suggestion. :)

You need to trust the guy. If you don't feel like you should trust him cuz he does stuff to point that way, then don't go out with him. The only way to not go crazy obsessing over him is to trust him not to hurt you. If you're obsessed as in you never stop thinking about him, you're infatuated. It goes away after a while and if you still want to be with him then it's probly going to last.

The best thing is find something else to replace your obsession with guys - hopefully you can find something a bit more constructive.
The big thing is to take a break and concentrate just on you. Hopefully with a bit more time you can break the cycle.

Well i used to be the same way, it happens alot when you arent ready for a relationship. Maybe you guys should slow down.. or maybe even go really fast.. so then it all just comes out at once, and you wont be so crazy about him.
It worked for me!
GOOD LUCK!â¥

What are you obsessing about? Are there trust issues? You need to realize that everyone is different, and not everyone that comes into your life is there forever. So chill and enjoy the ride.

Well...what is the common denominator in these two relationships....your insecurity!....You need to find out why you undervalue yourself...to the point that you don't think anyone else can really really like you...thus, not being true to you...until you do...you will keep having these same problems in all your relationships.

I've had the same problem, minus the boyfriend part. Just try to realize that life does not center on that person.

It's not healthy to be obsessive and could drive him away if you're not careful. I suggest counselling to help you understand the reason you feel as you do.

You are obsessive because you are afraid to lose him!Try to be in your shoes and think that if a thing is going to happen, it will happen, even if you try to stop it!Be yourself!
