A male co-worker and I have become really good friends at work and outside of work. We work in different departments same company. We send each other e-mails tease each other all the time and sometimes on the weekedns we go out and hang out with a group of friends which has involved dancing and kissing everytime. All this was fine since we were such goods friends and had not had sex until one night I went over to his place and we were just watching movies talking and goofing off and we had sex. It was still fine afterwards but I actually started liking him which I did a little bit before. Now it's akward I want him to actually ask me out on a date but he only ask me to hang out with friends. It's really sad I don't even want to talk to him anymore because I like him and he doesn't understand what is up why I don't talk to him. My question why is he like this? He acts like he likes me sometimes but he never ask me out I'm very frustrated? What should I do?

The key to any relationship..romantic or friendship is honestest and open communication.
TALK TO HIM. Tell him how you feel. Apparently you aren't shy around him.. you did have sex with him.
You really sound like a confused little teenager. You are a grown woman and should be able to talk to a male about your feelings and your friendship.

Your reading to much into it was just sex to him. Your still the same friend he works with. In his mind the sex changed nothing. You need to realize that it was just sex and nothing more. Now your bitter because you want more and he doesn't........That's why they say don't get you honey where you get your money....Office romances never work.

What should you do? - GROW UP and realize that there are people around that think casual sex is O.K. and there is nothing expected after. - But, then again, you already knew that, didn't you?
If you are seriously hung up on this guy, why not ask him this question? - It's the adult thing to do.

Most office relationship don't last but so long. If you can try to make it work. Confide in those you feel wont tell anyone. Go up to him and ask him yourself! Tell him stop being a punk!

us guys typical take what we can get
and if we can get a friend with benifets and still do the things we like (hang out with friends and stuff) then we are not going to try and change it unless forced to
so on that note
you should ask him out on a date and see what happens

maybe he is not ready for a relationship right now and just wants a friends with benefits thing, which always end up bad, try to take it back to a platonic friendship and if that doesn't work then just get over the friendship

Maybe he's just as confused as you are. Are you really showing him how you feel? Guys are all like that sometimes. Tell him how you feel, and if he doesn't like you back, I think you should just settle for friendship to skim a heartbreak.
