Look, I was in the military and whatever you think, I served under the first Bush and Clinton and my friends that are still in the military can tell you that life for us was much better then than it is now. Its not about the political party, its about the individuals in charge, a bad decision is a bad decision and to send the people sworn to defend this country to die without a very very very good reason is foolish and cruel and will make people not want to join our armed forces. Its not about Democrat and Republican, its about understanding the committment that we made for all of you and the country we love and the harm it is now doing to watch our friends and loved ones die and not to really understand why and when we ask we get a lot of talk about liberals but still no answer. So it is pretty much destroyed now. The morale is high only because when you are in a war zone, you have to keep morale high or you will literally lose your senses and go insane. Don't let these people on the sidelines fool you, they do not know whats going on there. Talk to some people who have been there and ask them the truth about what they went through and then ask this question again.
I know its fun to fight with each other but honestly, its not good for this country or the troops fighting. Did you ever think that some of those troops may be Democrats? Are they any less valueable than the republiocans that are fighting? If we all care, no matter what party we belong to, we have to get it together for all of us, its the only way we are going to succeed as a nation.
I would like to thank you on behalf of the US military for the thumbs down.. Thats cool.

We left and im happy we did so dont think that just liberials wanted that war to be over with most of America did.

Well Clinton was doing a GREAT job at it. I am trying to count on my fingers all of the raises we DID NOT get while a democrat was president compared to all of the raises we DID get with a republican. I am just waiting to see what the liberals come up with next. Pretty soon we won't be the called the military we will be called "The hugz of love group" and we will go around giving all of the bad guys hugs and love!

They do it with out even noticing. Actually, when the democrats take office, the first thing they cut is Defense spending and increase welfare so more people won't have to work. Then they raise taxes............If they win the White House, each Democrat will have their own Jumbo Jetliner like Nancy Pelosi, with their own hand picked crew of leeches. The lower-middle class will pick up the tab as usual as the rich get richer.

They are just picking up where Clinton left off. How do you think he reduced the size of gorvenment he said he would do when he was campaigning? He cut the guts out of the military, hense smaller government. Fooled you right before your eyes! How stupid can people get. Sorry, I have to stop laughing. it is a real joke. They will just take up the same thing now that Hillary is trying for office. They can find other money pits for our taxdollars Now I have to find out how to capitalize on the extra money when they cut the budget!!!!

Republican View--- I do not think they want to destroy our military so to speak however the Dem's are against going to war so there could possibly be major cuts in funding ,and the closing of bases ,which are" military cut backs" ,and loss of jobs so they can have the money to fund the larger govt. because they have to have a "review panel" for everything they do ..But no I do not think they want to basically do away with our whole military just cut it back enough so we can not defend our self from anything

Don't you know that our military reputation is ruined from VN war. Even now, anytime we when to war, communists and dictators around the world warn us about another VN! Democrats have ruined it. Now they just need to stop any plans which try to rebuild it!

Seems that way -- did you hear what John Murtha was talking about a couple days ago? Seems he wants to slowly tighten every string on the military until it's so tied up it can't move. Supplies, strategies, you name it.
