The Prophet Muhammad recommended that Muslims should be selective in the names of their children as part of the identity of a Muslim. He recommended that the most beautiful names are those which give servitude or praise to Allah.Combinations of various names is a matter of personal liking and choice. Names of Allah should never be used alone.
These should always be preceded by "Abdul" or should be combined with another name in such a way that the final name does not remain a specific attribute of Allah.
Are you trying for an islamic name or are you trying to not give an islamic name?

There are no Islamic names. Before the religion Islam, those names were part of the local Beduin culture. None of the key figures in Islam changed there names after accepting the faith.

I am slightly confused by your question. Are you trying to find a Muslim name or avoid finding one? If it is the latter, that is extremely prejudiced of you and I hope you don't pass your negative ideas on to your child. Islam is a religion. Names tend to originate from languages, not specific religions. Try looking for Arabic or Persian names. They can be very beautiful.
You should be able to find a wide selection on Baby Name sites or in books. Try www.babynamesworld.com or www.babynames.org.uk. under World names.
