i think in some instances that women are better at it. i guess it would depend on the individual. its just that women (in general) run the household, there fore, they know whats needed, when, how much, etc....
For example: if i asked my husband to go to walmart and get my little girl a pair of shoes, he would not have a clue as to what size, color, kind (boot, sneaker or sandal) or what was a good price and what was way too much, as a matter of fact, if he took my daughter he would definitely spend way too much and probably come back with ten pairs instead of one.

Some men are good at it, some are not.
Is this Sweeping Generalization Friday?
I mean, really- how many things can you say are absolutely true about 100% of any sample population? Very very very few.
And running the household finances is not one of those.

I think that statement is true if the woman is the only person living in the household. Geez........lighten up! Its not about picking one person who is "completely in charge" of everything. It is about a mutual agreement of who does what best, ya know.......compromise? Dang, you got a Natzi view!

no,in a household to run normally, both men and woman should share responsibility and both of then should be in charge

I personally dont believe in one person being the head, but more of a co-partnership between both the woman and the man. You do this cause your good at it and I do this cause Im good at it type of thing.

WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE AGE GROUP,IN A HOUSEHOLD UNDER 30 YEARS OLD YES THE FEMALE TENDS TO BE A LOT MORE SLICK AND WISE WHEN MAKING DECISIONS, WHILE MEN ARE VERY CHILDISH AND JUMPS BEFORE THINKING.

a woman is better equiped to manage the house,
but the man should provide and protect.. if thats what your getting at.
women have a natural, i guess "mother-like" tendency..
where we do better with the kids..

No not all women are. But most can do a better job of multitasking then men can.
