A lot of pesticides don't have a lot of information about them, especially environmentally. There tends to be more information about their toxicological effects to humans.

That being said, I found some information on the ExToxNet website about it. It said that the half-life (the amount of time it takes to break down half of it) is 23 days in silt clay, & 63 days in a silt clay/water. Without oxygen, there is a much longer half-life (how the persistence is measured).

Compared to an insecticide like DDT, that is nothing, and I think that is about average for a lot of herbicides. I'm not an herbicide expert and I am more familiar with insecticides in general. Hope that helps (I'll put a reference for you to go to in the Source).
