my boyfriend told me on valentines day that he loved me. we have been together almost a year and a half. is it weird that he took so long?

Not all all...It is so much better for him to wait to say it when he actually meant it then to just say it b/c he feels like it has to be said....You should look at it as something special to hold on to b/c him waiting that long should show you how much it is true...thats so sweet!

Nope. Guys take forever to express their feelings. Perhaps he knew well before that and decided to tell you on Valentine's day to make it more special...

Nooo not at all! He wanted to make sure of his feelings first and for that reason I think he's a pretty good guy. Too many guys tell girls I love you and it means "0". You girl... I beleive have the real thing...good luck!

No, we would rather not have to say it at all. I think you should think it special(as he probably did) that he took it upon a national holiday of love to say it on to make it that much more special for you. How often do you tell him?
