Products designed for a black woman's hair might be very damaging for a white woman's hair, because black women generally have much coarser hair that requires much more to be straightened. You should try something designed for your hair type first, and then move up to more powerful formulas if those don't work.

If your talking about the chemical relaxers then that's depending on your hair type. I'm a black woman, and I have naturally curly hair so I get a relaxer put in my hair every two months to straighten it out. I have heard of white women getting perms, but these perms usually do the reverse for them. It makes their hair curly because their hair is usually straight. I'm thinking that the chemicals used in these relaxers are targeted towards kinky and curly hair. It may be too harsh for your texture. I don't think it's made for white women's texture of hair, even the one's that have thick and curly hair. Your best bet would be to get a really good straightening iron. I'm not talking about a cheap one. If you spend money on a good expensive one then your going to get the results you want. You'll have no problem with really straight hair if you spend good money on one. Trust me the $10.00 irons are ok for a while, but they don't do as well. Just look for a good one and go from there.

relies upon on what you employ. yet specific they might make your hair gressy reason they positioned oils in the products in easy terms for black human beings hair. and the oils and stuff that they put in there is those that they do no longer put in your products. like Amino Proteins they positioned this in black hair products no longer white

No don't do it you will mess up your hair the products are too strong and you could end up with severe breakage I have curly hair and when I was younger I tried it more than once and always ended up with dry frizzy hair.

If you know how your hair reacts to relaxers already then you should be fine. They are all very damaging so just keep up with the conditioning. ghetto_queen_in_love has some major issues. Don't listen to her.

Yes, they do work. I have used them back in the days when long, straight hair was en vogue.
They REALLY dry out and damage your hair, so please be careful.
Good luck!
