I am looking for something to take out to the lake and go romping and off roading in, is a 12inch spring lift too much?
here is the car I am looking at..is it tooo high up or should it be fine for what I want to do?

Yes.
My hubby and I had a 74 Blazer, 6 inch lift and 35's on it. He rolled it 2 yrs after we bought it goofing off. My advice to you is not to get it. But, if ya still want your toy (they can be fun) INVEST IN A ROLLCAGE!

It will roll over so fast you will not believe it....3 or 4 in lift ok

that looks like a nice one. It would be to high for a daily driver but for mudding higher the better.

as long as you don't go sideways on a steep hill or take a turn to fast you will be fine
