You have to be a starfish or lizard to qualify for that particular miracle.

"HE" doesn't heal anything. When people say God healed them...it's really missleading...if that were the case...then alot more people would be healed. My aunt goes to church alot...but she is a very bad woman; she borrows money all the time and never pays back (robs basically), she causes problems at work and sues people when she pretends to be in disability....she was with cancer...and told the doctor that because God cleaned her blood that she couldn't have had cancer....later it turned out that she didn't have cancer. The logical explanation was that she received a missdiagonoses...or the second test may have been poorly executed...who knows....my main point is...WHY WOULD GOD GIVE MY AUNT (A BIT** really) a chance to live while others who are much more deserving live?

Today science says that ALL healings are a natural event, and some one who is healed by faith just happen to heal naturally.
I think God has held restoring limbs until He pours out His finale blessing before the Great Tribulation begins.
That way, people will have one last chance to acknowledge God and turn to Him. But I bet there will be some doctors and scientist who will than say that people can also grow limbs now.

Friend, I know this question has been on many people's mind, Jesus never healed everyone in his day that was sick, But you have to also see that if a person is an amputee, & they are a Christian, When the Rapture takes place, That person will have all his or her limbs, there will not be one person left out with a complete body, I have heard many Christians say that the way we die will be the way we will be in the milliennium, It would be awlful to see John walking around with his head in his hands

God used healing in the past to show the identity of persons,
to show that they had credentials so to speak. You could not deny Jesus was from God, or that his apostles were following him, and were approved.
once that was firmly established as the way, it was not needed for proof anymore.
at that point, humans have not been given the power to do these miricles.
In the future, God will restore everyone who follows Him to good health, but right now, God has his focus on restoring people spirtually first, and that is the main point.
We are in a time when God is allowing man to show what his rule is like,
and when God's time arrives, he will restore his full rulership, and obedient people to the way he designed us to be.

Why does he has to?
Give me evidence where God 'heals' people suffering from Cancer and AIDS. Did he show up in a robe?
I agree with what Kenn M said.

Who is to say he doesn't? God also allows things in peoples lives to draw them closer to him.
2 corinthians 1:9
Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.
as you can see in this verse from the bible that God allows things to happen but he is even capable of raising the dead.
but... here is an example of when he did...
Luke 22:47-51
47While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, 48but Jesus asked him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?"
49When Jesus' followers saw what was going to happen, they said, "Lord, should we strike with our swords?" 50And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him.

I just finished reading a book called "Prayer" by Phillip Yancy. It discusses the questions about prayer that we all seem to have at one time or another. I'm sure it could shed some light on your questions and doubts.

That would defy the mystery of God. If an amputated arm suddenly reappeared whole again, that would pretty much answer the question of god. But it's never happened. That's because there is no god.
