Also, what about, when it comes to writing romances about no-one in particular?

The pieces of writing aren't novels/stories.

write your feelings how you feel about that person. First make a list about everything you like about her (assuming your a guy and not gay lol) and then after you listed all your feelings try to put them into a poem and let it flow. If you just want to write her a letter just say what your feeling about her and whats on your mind. Once you start it will be so much easier to make it flow like you just need that starting piece. Think of her good qualites and if you dont know her think about the things you would like to know about her or think about the things you are attracted to about her. You will get the hang of it once you start it.

This isn't an answer to your prayers, but it's a simple answer: Be yourself and learn from life. A lot of women will tell you that being yourself and showing real emotions you feel in situations, is a romantic gesture in itself. Also, being honest and talking about things that bother you straight away.

Just what I think. Don't bother with trying to write romantically. Being able to express emotion with your face and your body is more important than writing almost pseudo feelings.

And if you're in an online relationship...then again. Be yourself; write what you want to write. If you just want to write something romantic to someone who you've been close to for a long time - then let your heart flow. Don't search the web for words.

Hope this helps. =]

you can write passionately and romantically once you understand what passion and romance are to you.....

if you put your mind to you can write passionately about anything... pick up a car magazine or a hunting magazine or any magazine on any topic and plenty of people are writing passionately about what matters most to them...

If you are wanting to get the passionate romantic emotions across in a letter or story sit and think about what relationship means to you, what do women mean to you in general and one woman in particular.

think about what it is about a womans mind that tantalises you, what is it about her body, the way she moves, the way she talks, her facial expressions, think about all of the things that you and her do that and how that makes you feel.

I noted that someone said "dont mention a ladies curves in a letter" Personally I think that is ridiculous one of the most romantic (sexually) things my partner said to me was "Gawd I love your big thighs" now truly a lot of women may be offended by such a statement... but to me it was like okay I do have big thighs and that is not going to change so if he likes them that is great.... that means he likes me as I am... even today, three years down the track he still says that and I still think it is a lovely thing to say...

there is somethig incredibly sexy about a man who says what is true for him even if the words are not ideal...or perfect... the fact he is reaching inside himself and bringing out some of those feelings is enough to set some sparks flying..

Don't try too hard to be romantic too wishy-washy and there is no romance.. only contrived crap...rather be real and true to your own feelings and experiece...
