Don't bother ! having used both types there are no discernible benefits that I can see from using an ionic hair dryer- I think its a marketing gimmick.
The best hair dryers are professional standard and can only be bought from hair salons or hair dressing supplies stores or online.
Screenface.co.uk sells these hairdryers online and so does Babyliss also try HQhair.co.uk
They are expensive but well worth the investment, as they are much more powerful than your normal hairdryer, dry your hair much quicker and will last for years and years.

well they say so... i don't think I've noticed much of a difference but an ionic one is supposed to be better for your hair so it doesn't dry out or something... but i have both and i haven't seen a difference
