1. Sugar Ray Robinson. Ray defeated more great fighter's and champions than any middleweight champion in history. He is the 5 time middleweight champion and before his first retirement had compiled an amazing record of 131-3-1.
2. Carlos Monzon & Marvin Hagler (tie) Carlos Monzon had an amazing career and not losing for almost the last 9 years or so of his career and still holds the record for most title defenses. Marvin Hagler was one the most complete fighters in middleweight history fighting and beating all contenders. He is second to Monzon in title defenses as middleweight champion.

1. Sugar Ray Robinson - The standard by which all boxers who have come after him are measured, including Muhammad Ali. Skilled, strong, durable and charismatic, he was the greatest hands down.
2. Marvin Hagler - Another powerful, tough and durable fighter, Hagler had an extremely impressive career record of 62-3-2.
3. Bernard Hopkins - A powerful, tough, intimidating, resilient fighter. He held the IBF title for 11 consecutive years!

1 - Sugar Ray Robinson. In my opinion the best boxer p4p ever. 93-0 until his first loss. 212 fights. He was amazing.
2 - Sugar Ray Leonard. Does the name "Sugar" good. Came out of retirement to beat one of the best middle weights in history. Marvin Hagler. Made Roberto Duran quit.
3 - Toss Up - Hagler, Roy Jones Jr
Runner Ups - LaMatta, Thomas Hearnes, Bernard Hopkins
