I think you can tell by what you sense through her personality. What kind of vibes you're picking up from her. You can tell if she's materialistic or appreciative. Your instincts will let you know. Usually girls after money are the ones who already have everything and have been spoiled. They are use to having everything handed to them and never worked for anything. Or it can sometimes be a girl who never had anything growing up and takes advantage of what she can get.
If she's after you, then you will be her biggest focus.

If she's after your money, she tends to only hang around and be nice to you when she wants a present or needs cash
If i liked a guy for his personality I would be really interested in getting to know him better, and money wouldn't be too much of an issue

you don't. That's why I always say I am broke, even when I have a few hundred in my pocket. If she hangs around then she may be interested. when it gets right down to it have her sign a prenup. If she won't sign it then she was after your money all along.
Oh yeah, she will say some bull*sh*it about "if you really loved me you wouldn't need a prenup" or something like that. Just let her go and don't look back.

Is she "high maintenance"? Does she shop a lot, wear expensive clothes, shoes, jewelry, perfume? Does she feel naked without her nails being done, her make-up and hair perfectly in place? Does she ever do anything nice for you which involves spending her own money? If she has children, does she sort of expect you to buy stuff for them?
If you are in doubt, then settle in for LONG courtship and see what develops.

if she's willing to sign a pre-nup then there ya go! if not then you have a reason to think she might be in it for the money. Also is she very materialistic? Does she appreciate the little things that you do for her more than you just buying her stuff? if little things outways buying stuff then you have a reason to believe its you she wants.

TELL you what. DONTspend a lot of money on her. GO 4 a beer or coke. FIX burgers on a grill. PINCH pennies in front of her.

She'll be concerned about your feelings and ideals. Unless she's not a big talker to begin with, she'll talk to you all the time about things and want your input.

She expects you to buy her EVERYTHING! and instead of writing hearts with your name in the middle, its a BIG dollar sign with Ms. on it, because she will become a widow once she kills you and gain all your assets and accounts :) Thats how you know
