I would tell her what a tragedy it is that she turns the grief she feels about her sons death into a crusade against her own people something her son would have never done. She certainly has the right to disagree and I certainly have a right to believe her antics do nothing to bring about a just and peaceful conclusion to our quest to protect and defend our country or our interests. I did not appreciate this type of political discord 40 years ago when I came home and I certainly don't appreciate it now. A very narrow path is cut by this type person without a lick of recognition of all the other variables within a conflict. Nifty chants and shear political hatred are all most of these folks have to offer. The depth of their vision usually is critically shallow or nonexistent. A few things not done properly is enough to invalidate the entire mission. Its an attempt to paralyze the system rather then seeking justice.

Hey Cindy how is the gang? Castro doing alright? Hugo have full control yet? Wow that's great. How's President Tom? I see Putin is going back to the good old days.
Not!! I would cross the street so I would not have to look at her.

I would remind her that her son volunteered for the military and volunteered twice to go on the rescue mission during which he died. He's a hero, not a victim.

I would tell her that I admire her for standing up for what she believes in and participating in activity that our Constitution gives us the right to do. This has nothing to do with whether I agree with her or not, but most people sit around and send forwards and write on Yahoo answers and that's it! She's actually DOING SOMETHING.

Ma'am, we need to take you to a shelter so you can get some warm clothing and food, and some badly needed medication.
You were sounding a little crazy there…

thank you for standing firm in what you believe in and for standing up to the president even when no one else was questioning him or his policies. Thank you for doing what the congressmen and media did not have the courage to do.

I wouldn't say a thing, I don't want to be charged with conspiring with a traitor. That's a capital offense.

I would ask her if her reference to terrorists as "freedom fighters" was a result of her grief and anxiety or if that is how she really feels.
Any further conversation would depend on her reply.
